P.P.V. Interview C.L.E:
Hello Wayne Conner, how are you?
P.P.V.: I am great.
C.L.E: First off thank
you for taking the time to this
interview!
P.P.V.: You’re welcome man,
my pleasure.
C.L.E: You’ve
had a vision that’s been birthed
in you since the age of 16 why don’t
you everyone about that?
P.P.V.: Well man um, first of all,
the vision that was put on my heart
was to reach people in a different
way, it was to reach the world…the
young people from age 13-30…what
kids need to learn and how they
need to learn it…exposing
what the music industry is portraying.
I’ve had this vision since
I was16. I’ve been constantly
praying about the vision. And now,
I’m ready to launch it.
C.L.E: What’s
the mission of Project Positive
Vibe?
P.P.V: Man, our mission is to provide
an alternative to the same flavors
and styles to music in an honorable
way, with truth and a godly twist,
ya know. Entertainment is entertainment,
but you want to give them something
to add to instead of taking away
as far as our target market, the
young people, are concerned
C.L.E: How will P.P.V. impact this
nation?
P.P.V.: Wow!!!! Man, listen. In
both homes, Christian and secular,
they’ve been waiting for an
answer. People everywhere are concerned
about censorship. However, this
is not a protest about certain artist.
The majority of the artists are
accounted for, but at the same time
that doesn’t get the job done.
They are portraying the wrong image,
leading our youth down the wrong
roads. Christian homes don’t
give an answer. Neither do they
give an alternative. They tell their
kids don’t curse or not to
use vulgarity, they try to give
them examples but the kids don’t
know them. In secular homes, they
curse their kids out *** *** you
aren’t bringing this in my
house…what we are doing. All
the people who thought there was
no alt or no answer, ah-haah we
are coming with an alternative on
a main stream platform. We are making
noise about it…raising concerns
about it. The negative parts that
all our kids are being affected
by daily, we are bringing to the
forefront. Project Positive Vibe
is a paradigm shift to this generation.
C.L.E: Now you’re
an artist as well aren’t you?
P.P.V.: Yes sir
C.L.E: How does that
fit in with P.P.V.?
P.P.V.: Well um, I believe what
I have to offer is just as edgy.
I hate the stigma that I am put
into. There is always going to be
controversy, like gospel artists
and Christian artists, main stream
or Christian, like the Christian
has no significance. It is always
looked upon as the poor man’s
music, but who I am living for has
the richest music you can ever find.
It (my music) has just as much as
an edgy sound, with lyrical and
spiritual content that will change
someone’s future. It’s
not just words. It’s life,
ya know. It’s what I do.
C.L.E: When
can we look forward to hearing more
about P.P.V.?
P.P.V.: Right now we are in our
formative stages. We are putting
together teams and partners…networking.
We are working with an amazing company,
Christ Like Entertainment, who is
on the rise like never before. A
host of platforms. And you will
be hearing about us very soon. Y’all
hold on to the edge of your seats!
Stay on the look out!
